About the Firm

Practitioner expertise.
No intermediaries.

Fiscalis Consilium is an independent boutique advisory firm based in Washington, DC. We support nonprofits and organizations operating in complex, highly regulated environments, bringing senior practitioner-level judgment across fiscal management, business operations, strategy, and organizational effectiveness.

Our Philosophy

The principles that shape every engagement and every recommendation we make on behalf of our clients.

"The best advisory is invisible. You walk away with clarity, a decision made, and a path forward — not a dependency on the advisor."

Fiscalis Consilium was founded on a simple premise: organizations making high-stakes decisions deserve counsel that is genuinely independent. Not beholden to a parent firm's service offerings, not steering clients toward preferred tools or platforms, and not constrained by relationships that compete with client interests.

We bring practitioner experience, not abstract frameworks, to the challenges our clients face. Our principal has spent more than two decades working in complex government, operational, and international policy environments, understanding not only the rules but the conditions that determine whether a decision succeeds or fails.

Our engagements are structured to transfer knowledge, build internal capability, and leave organizations stronger than when we arrived. We do not create dependencies. We create results.

Principal Advisor

Kim Yeggy
Founder & Principal

Kim Yeggy brings more than 20 years of practitioner-level experience across federal fiscal management, international affairs and policy, budget formulation, program administration, and organizational operations. Her career spans senior roles in complex policy and operational environments, where she has led budget cycles, navigated fiscal law and compliance requirements, and advised program offices through regulatory, operational, and cross-border challenges.

Kim founded Fiscalis Consilium to give organizations the kind of clear-eyed, independent counsel that comes from having worked inside the systems being advised on: guidance grounded in direct federal budget and regulatory experience, not just theoretical frameworks.

Her advisory practice spans fiscal management, policy alignment, business operations, strategy, and organizational effectiveness. She works with nonprofits and organizations in highly regulated and complex environments, bringing consistent rigor, discretion, and practical insight to every engagement.
